Charleston, South Carolina · Private Inshore Charters
Private inshore fishing charters and Lowcountry boat tours through Charleston's marsh creeks and back rivers. Small groups, one captain, no strangers on your boat.
Your Captain
Fishing Charleston 101 is a private, owner-operated charter — not a fleet, not a franchise. When you book, you fish with a licensed local captain who grew up working these tides, not a rotating cast of deckhands. That's the difference between a good day on the water and a great one.
“I don't run a boat for a living — I fish for one. There's a difference, and you'll feel it.”
Charters & Rates
Every trip is private — just your group and the captain. Rates cover up to 4 anglers; ask about rates for larger groups.

On The Line
Charleston's tidal creeks hold year-round action. Target species shift with the season — your captain reads the tide and picks the game plan.
The Lowcountry's signature gamefish — tailing on the flats year-round.
Light-tackle fun over grass flats and deep holes, especially fall & winter.
Ambush hunters along creek mouths and structure — great on the table.
Heavy-shouldered structure feeders around docks, jetties & pilings.
The Proof
Real catches from real charters — every photo below came off Fishing Charleston 101's own boat.

Reviews
“Best charter we've booked anywhere. My son caught his first redfish and the captain made sure every kid in the boat had a rod bent.”
Meredith H.
Half-Day Inshore Charter
“We fished with two other outfits in Charleston before this one. Not close. Knew every hole in the marsh and put us on fish all day.”
Trevor D.
Full-Day Inshore Charter
“Booked the boat tour with my parents who don't fish at all — dolphins, gorgeous scenery, and a genuinely fun couple of hours.”
Alicia P.
Lowcountry Boat Tour
“Flounder, trout, redfish — caught all three before noon. Already rebooked for next spring.”
Ben C.
